How Traveling Inward Led Anael Milena Oda to Create LARIMARITA
I never traveled for sightseeing.
I traveled for my soul purpose.
From a young age, I felt a deep calling to explore the world—not only to discover new places, but to discover myself. Every journey felt divinely guided. I traveled with trust, lightness, and the feeling that I was exactly where I was meant to be.
My mission is always: to spread love, joy, and light wherever life leads me till today.
When I was fourteen years old, I left my small Czech village because something deep inside me whispered that my life would unfold far beyond its borders. I couldn’t explain it then, but I knew I had to follow that inner voice.
That whisper became the beginning of a lifelong journey.
For more than twenty years, I studied, lived, and worked across Europe. My path led me through Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, UK, Italy, and many other countries.
I became with 22 years a Czech-German author, interpreter, and translator, writing books, poetry, and theatre plays in German—a language that wasn’t my mother tongue, yet one I deeply loved because of my family’s German roots. I learned German since a childhood.
I also earned a Master’s degree in German literature, world history, languages, theater and culture. Yet my greatest university has always been the world itself. I studied in the Czech republic, Austria and Germany at the Universities.
And I always traveled. I was curious about the world. My country is small for me I always thought.
I wanted to hear different languages spoken in the streets.
To sit with local families.
To share meals.
To understand how people celebrate, love, grieve, dream, pray, and build their lives.
For me, travel has never been about collecting passport stamps.
It has always been about expanding my heart, my mind, and my soul.
I loved traveling this way—living in countries long enough to truly understand them. Egypt, Morocco, India, Nepal, North and South America, Africa, and more recently Japan, China, South Korea, Bali, and Thailand all became chapters of my story.
With every country where I lived or traveled, I became wiser, deeper, and more fully myself.
Every culture revealed another way of being human: a Cosmopolitan.
Living among Muslim communities taught me the importance of respect, family, and devotion—qualities I had never experienced in my own family.
Spending time in Buddhist traditions helped me discover the meaning of inner peace and presence.
My journey into the shamanic traditions of the Peruvian Amazon awakened a profound connection with nature and showed me that I am not separate from it—I belong to it.
Living within the back communities as a white woman also taught me about healing the wounds created by division and seeing beyond the color of our skin.
Every place became a teacher. I was allowing the world to transform me. Every culture offered a lesson.
Those experiences awakened my spiritual gifts and helped me become the woman I was meant to be—a writer, filmmaker, speaker, healer, shaman, spiritual guide, and entrepreneur.
Every language opened another window into the human heart.
Today, those languages allow me to share my international brand LARIMARITA with people around the world and speak directly to their hearts. Yet I’m at the beginning of this big journey.
The greatest turning point in my life came when I first encountered the gemstone called Larimar. 🩵
Ten years ago, while living in Los Angeles, I discovered the spiritual blue gem called Larimar for the very first time. The moment I saw its heavenly blue color, something profound shifted within me. I cried for hours holding my new treasure. I immediately called it my soulmate.
Although the pendant cost much more than I had ever spent on a crystal, I knew I couldn’t leave without it. My heart simply knew.
That pendant quietly whispered that one day we would travel together to the Dominican Republic—the only place in the world where Larimar is found.
Four years later, I left Los Angeles, visited the Larimar mine, and instantly knew I had found my new home.
Without realizing it, every journey had been preparing me to create LARIMARITA.
LARIMARITA is much more than a jewelry brand.
It is a spiritual brand born from my own transformation.
As a healer and spiritual guide, I don’t see Larimar as simply a rare blue gemstone. For me, Larimar is a spiritual healing stone carrying the peaceful energy of the Caribbean Sea and the great evolution of our Planet Earth. It’s offering a gentle invitation to slow down, listen, and reconnect with ourselves.
Every piece of Larimar is unique, just as every human soul is unique.
I believe every Larimar stone already has its soulmate somewhere in the world. Just as my pendant was waiting for me in a small crystal shop in Los Angeles, every piece is waiting for the person it is meant to accompany.
That is why I carefully choose every stone and every piece of jewelry. Every piece passes through my hands with the intention of love, peace, healing, and light before it begins its journey to its new owner.
Whether people understand spirituality or not, my deepest wish is that they feel something beautiful when they hold a piece of Larimar from LARIMARITA.
Today, I continue traveling with Larimar around the world to the Gemshows, festivals also as a Soundbath healer surrounded by Larimar stones while giving the deep meditation sounds and songs in the light language.
I love connecting with people from different cultures because LARIMARITA is being created as a cosmopolitan brand.
Every article, every interview, every journey, and every conversation feels like another expression of divine guidance, helping Larimar find the people who are meant to discover it.
For me, Larimar carries the memory of Atlantis and Lemuria and gently reminds us who we truly are: loving beings of light who grow through both light and shadow. This philosophy became the heart of my brand—Conscious Luxury of Healing.
Larimar provides that healing energy. Since ever my clients refer to this ability.
My life and my mission in the Dominican republic are aligned.
Everything I do is connected to the Dominican Republic, the place I lovingly call my temple, while the world remains my home.
Larimar, Blue Amber, spiritual retreats at the Larimar mine, the Taíno culture, organic cacao and coffee, healthy living, healing, writing, and traveling are not separate parts of my life—they are all expressions of the same mission: to inspire people to reconnect with themselves through love, light, and conscious living.
Perhaps that is why I never traveled for sightseeing. I traveled to become.
And in becoming myself, I gave birth to LARIMARITA.
Through LARIMARITA, my greatest wish is to inspire others to reconnect with themselves, trust their own intuition, discover their own inner light, and remember who they truly are. becoming authentic is the challenging goal
